Founded in London in 2002, mou is the internationally recognised label for premium, handcrafted shoes and accessories in luxurious natural fibres. Unique and sensually soft, mou styles are loved by fans for their pared-down, back-to-nature feel. 

Sold in stores worldwide and online at destinations such as Net-a-Porter, Red Hot Penny was brought in on an end-to-end solution basis with our global fulfillment partner, SEKO Logistics. mou required an agency to design and build a new responsive ecommerce website that communicated the brand's message. 

Digital Marketing services were also required, including the optimisation of the new mou online store and digital PR services. Our PR approach included strategic blogger outreach and media relations to ensure online magazines and influencers were introduced to the brand with the goal of gaining exposure and pushing traffic to the new site.


Operated through Red Hot Penny’s platform, Metacommerce, the new responsive online store has been revitalised with the aim of increasing mobile conversions; an important development in the ecommerce industry. Integrated logistics solutions have been provided with our partner SEKO to improve mou’s logistical power and reach. mou London was our first client to be integrated on the latest version of Metacommerce, named after the French capital, Paris. 

On the digital marketing side we put together a plan of action on how we could improve mou’s current social presence. We analysed their current posts using external management systems and reported on what type of posts were the most successful. Our SEO specialists researched keywords and optimised the new website, while our PR team leveraged their relationships with bloggers and press to raise brand awareness. All with the goal of increasing traffic and online sales.
