Missoni F/W 14-15 Campaign with M/M Paris & Viviane Sassen

M/M Paris and photographer-artist Viviane Sassen have created the new 2014-15 fall/winter campaign for Missoni, with a play between memory and future; art and science-fiction.

The images portray models Joan Smalls and Justin Burnhill against the backdrop of an archeological site, by countering and superimposing Missoni pieces of clothing with the geometrical silhouettes of robot-like lookalikes.

The images show a combination of cut-outs in different shapes and colour to emphasise and enhance the identity of the Missoni woman by transforming her into the adventurous character of a futuristic cartoon, evoking a work of Balla or Depero. The result is a collage that brings together colours with black and white, real and dreamy, natural and digital, interpreting the palette, the cuts, textures, patterns and geometric shape of the collection with a witty attitude.
