We are delighted to announce the launch of a new ecommerce website for leading fitness brand Les Mills.
The exercise and fitness group has trained over 100,000 qualified instructors and operates energetic training programs in over 15,000 clubs across the world, in over 80 countries. Red Hot Penny worked closely with the UK extension of the Les Mills team to create the first online presence for the brand’s own SmartTech exercise equipment, ranging from training bikes to weight racks.
Designed to reflect the distinctive global Les Mills brand and built on the robust Red Hot Penny ecommerce platform, lesmillstech.com has been specially developed to allow the UK team to manage and edit the website in-house with little prior ecommerce experience. The project included a full business analysis of the Les Mills business requirements, to ensure that the system would meet all the needs of the end user and could cater to the unique customer base of business/wholesale customers who were likely to place large product orders.
Along with a streamlined checkout, flexible promotions suite and comprehensive data management tools, the new ecommerce website features bespoke integration with the Les Mills UK logistics partner of choice, SEKO Logistics, and their warehousing & fulfilment systems. Sophisticated automated order processing capabilities were incorporated to allow for multiple orders to be delivered by a range of different warehousing operators, and unique shipping options and customer service facilities were created to allow the Les Mills internal team to produce individualised shipping costs per location and per order.
